Sabrina’s 5th studio album emails I can’t send was released on July 15, 2023. Now, just about months later, she’s announced that she’s adding a few songs that belong with the original 13 tracks to be released next Friday March 17, 2023.
She’s calling it: emails i can’t send fwd:
The title is simple and perfect.
If you read my review of the album from October, you’ll remember I was bugged about her North American tour announcement that included 1 measly Canadian date in Toronto.
Well, the long overdue update to that particular annoyance is that she announced another leg of the tour back in December, which included an Edmonton date!!! And at Union Hall which is my favourite mid-sized venue (does the Winspear count as mid-sized?? That would take the cake actually). I also love that a few people that I’ve managed to put on her have already DMd me about it and let me know they’ve bought tickets to their city’s shows.
I think that might be my love language.
And just 2 weeks ago, she announced her supports; spill tab and Blu DeTiger! Blu DeTiger is a bass player that blew up on social media in the last couple of years and I loved her debut EP How Did We Get Here? that came out in March 2021. spill tab will be at my show in Edmonton and I was unfamiliar with her music up until this announcement. Since then, I’ve been listening to her short(6 tracks, under 14 minute long) album Bonnie a ton! I think she’s a perfect fit for this tour. She mixes her soft vocals & guitar with gritty beats and mix in some french moments? I’m sold.
Carpenter will be hitting the road in less than a week, starting the tour in Florida on March 16. I can’t wait to see all of the content that comes with it! And if you’re her management reading this, please check your spam emails because I WANT TO COVER IT!!
Thank you.
Have a great day, Dolls.
