As the world burns and casts a smokey grey shadow over our city, I am still willingly going out for early start times and great harmonizing.
I’d seen Roll The Bones a few times before and they ALWAYS sound good. Their energy on stage is a great mix of playful, personable, and borderline cocky rockstar. Plus they have a tambourista who was front and center this time…
They took the stage at 6:30 and I was out the door by 7:45 (aka, it was an ideal night). I have been to The Buckingham many times to enjoy their all vegan menu – more specifically, their Fried Chickn Basket – but this is the first time seeing a show there. Sounded excellent, the big windows let in a lot of natural light, and for such an early show, the turnout was great. People were dancing, bopping, singing their singles back to them?? Love to see it.
Here are some photos:
I’m still too shy to ask for guestlist, so these pictures are actually for the fine people at AltYeg. Give them a follow to keep up on music and events happening in Edmonton. Thanks to Justin for letting me attend this show in his name.
Bye.
